Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Sandstone & Sage. We ship all orders from our California warehouse with the goal of delivering your items quickly and safely. Please review the details below to understand how shipping, delivery, and order processing work.

1. Processing Times

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.
During peak seasons, sales, or high-volume periods, processing may take an additional 1–3 business days.

Processing time does not include weekends or holidays.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

We ship using a variety of carriers, including UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout and vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method.

All delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates provided by the carrier, not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, delivery delays due to weather, routing, or carrier issues are outside of our control.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions

  • Destination address

  • Selected shipping method

Occasionally we offer free shipping promotions within the continental United States. Any such promotions will be clearly advertised.

4. Order Confirmation & Tracking

After your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number to follow the progress of your shipment.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.

5. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is complete and accurate at the time of ordering.

Sandstone & Sage is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Lost packages due to address errors

  • Additional shipping fees required to re-route or reship an order

If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We will do our best to correct it before shipment, but we cannot guarantee changes once a package is processing.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

Once the carrier marks an order as Delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Sandstone & Sage is not liable for:

  • Packages stolen after delivery

  • Packages delivered to the wrong location due to incorrect address entry

  • Lost packages resulting from carrier error

If your package appears missing:

  1. Check with neighbors and family members

  2. Verify the shipping address entered at checkout

  3. Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number

  4. Notify our team so we can assist where possible

Replacement decisions are made at our discretion.

7. Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Email us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include photos of the damage, the packaging, and your order number

We will work with you to resolve the issue with a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the situation.

Please keep all packaging materials until your claim is fully processed.

8. Pre-Orders & Backorders

If an item is listed as a pre-order or backorder:

  • The estimated ship date will be noted on the product page

  • Orders containing pre-order items will ship once all items are available unless otherwise requested

Estimated ship dates are subject to change due to production or supplier delays.

9. International Shipping

At this time, international shipping availability varies by product and region.
Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs requirements.

Failure to pay these fees may result in the package being returned or destroyed; refunds will not be issued in these situations.

10. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If an order is returned to us as undeliverable or refused without prior approval:

  • Return shipping fees

  • Original shipping fees

  • A restocking fee

may be deducted from your refund.

11. Changes or Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if the order has not yet shipped.
Once an order is processing or shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
